FF3-01 The Map of Tiny Perfect Things: Sutureless DSEK
Charuta J PURANIK India
The key to a successful manual DSEK is a. create very thin lenticule using crescent blade, b. construct a self-sealing incision that is large enough for smooth insertion of lenticule and small enough for tectonic stability. We demonstrate in this video bouquet, 1. Self-sealing wound construction 2. double sealing the incisions by lenticule repositioning and 3. gentle graft manipulations through a specially constructed long tunnel across the main wound. Lastly, we demonstrate 4. scenarios when suturing is a must. FF3-02 Targeted Limbal Epithelial Stem Cell Transplantation (TLET) for Post PK Corneal Haze Prabhjot SINGH India This video presents targeted limbal stem cell transplantation for persistent post PK corneal haze. The study used iOCT to guide placement of \limbal stem cell lenticules along irregular graft-host junctions in 12 patients. AS-OCT monitored lenticule integration over 6 months. Hyperrefractive lenticules showed better outcomes in improving corneal clarity and junction regularity. Results showed significant improvement, with 83% of cases achieving improved corneal clarity and 75% gaining better corrected visual acuity (BCVA). This novel technique could become a standard intervention for high-risk cases, potentially enhancing graft survival and visual outcomes while reducing risks and costs associated with repeat keratoplasty. FF3-03 Superficial Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (SALK) Yean Yaw CHOONG Malaysia A video on using Visumax Femtosecond laser for the management of corneal scarring. FF3-04 Flap Striae After LASIK Management Lucio BURATTO Italy The incidence of clinically significant striae requiring treatment is between 0.2% and 1.5%. This video shows how to
identify it and different management techniques, based on severity and timing. FF3-05 Unfruitful Journey Following SICS: A case of complicated therapeutic keratoplasty
Gadikota MOUNIKA India
60 Yrs male presented with PL in right eye history of sics 8months ago in Right eye developed redness, watering, pain in right eye 3months. No history trauma or herbal medication use using antibiotic eyedrops for past 1month. O/Eright eye CCC,total cornea infiltrate, rest details were not appreciated, B-scan showed hyperreflective echoes vitreous, RCS complex intact, probable diagnosis of fungal endophthalmitis was made, taken up for therapeutic penetrating keratoplasty, with 10mm host and 11mm donor cornea trephined, on table superior iridodialysis was noted, Anterior vitrectomy done for vitreous prolapse, interrupted sutures, peritomy closed. Intravitreal injection 3mm away from limbus given. Postoperative vision improved to cf -2mts with clear graft B-scan was with in normal limits. Patient started
on antibiotics, antifungals hourly followed up accordingly. FF3-06 Smile for Moderate Hyperopia: A game changer!
Smita AGARWAL Australia
Refractive hyperopia treatment has long been plagued by limitations and complications. SMILE offers a beacon of hope to transform this difficult yet most desired landscape. By offering a safe, effective and minimally invasive solution, SMILE may become the go-to procedure for moderate hyperopes. This video will highlight as we explore the possibilities of SMILE and its potential to revolutionize moderate hyperopia treatment.
